I’m always on the look out for budget foundations that are long lasting for work day to day, and this summer’s base has come from the Rimmel stand; the 25HR Lasting Finish Nude Foundation. If you didn’t already know (like me), this bottle has the white lid as opposed to the original Lasting Finish with a red lid. I’d read a couple of rave reviews about the new ‘nude’ version, and since I loved Rimmel’s Wake Me Up Foundation I thought I’d give it a go.
My most recent obsession when it comes to my makeup stash is wearing a bronzier version of my normal smokey eye. Take a peek at what look I created below…
As of late I’ve been making a weekend trip to Sheffield each month to see a couple of my friends and revisit my uni days. As I’m heading there next week I thought it would be the perfect chance to share what makeup and skincare I take with me, and how I pack. As a heads up, I’m fairly obsessive when it comes to organisation… if you’re the same, then hopefully you’ll enjoy this post! And if you’re the opposite, I’m not a loser… honest.
(As this is a scheduled post, I’ve planned this one beforehand)
As tradition goes in my family, every year brings a festive-style jumper to be worn on Christmas Day, and with that brings a makeup look that has to go with it (be that the beauty obsessive within). As I usually pick mine out beforehand, I know that mine is a Primark number this year; a fluffy one with a minty green colour and metallic gold spots. Pretty cute actually, and not so much on the novelty side as far as Christmas jumpers go.
After the world was taken by that picture of Kylie Jenner’s 90s nude lips, every female I know immediately lusted after MAC’s Velvet Teddy. After neglecting my blog this month, I’ve had this drafted post sat on my dashboard for a few weeks now, and I thought it was about time I finally posted it. So forget the £15.50 luxury lipstick; I’ve got the budget versions that I cannot stop using.
