Three Autumn Lippies

I’m baaack! It’s so nice to have a day of blogging motivation. A relaxing Sunday found myself mooching on WordPress… and here I am. Today I’m talking autumnal lippies… Including a couple I haven’t yet raved about!

Have a read of my top 3 of the moment below.

Autumn is finally here, and as cliché as it is, what would autumn be without a staple berry lippy? I mentioned this lovely mulberry colour in my Berry Lip Combo post last winter, and I could not wait to crack it out again as soon as the weather got a little cooler. Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 30 is long lasting, moisturising and smells beaut. Here’s what it looks like on below…. (#selfie)

Another Rimmel favourite of mine is one from the new(ish) Nude Collection by Kate. I always find myself grabbing this when I’m not feeling a bold colour. Like all the Kate lipsticks, it’s moisturising, long lasting and a lovely shade. This one is number 43; a slightly warmer MAC’s Velvet Teddy. Great with a tan, but still looks good without.

Lastly, the slightly pricier favourite and boldest of the lot, is the NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Volga. A super dark purple, this lippy is very pigmented and very matte. It’s quite drying, so I find the need to apply lots of lip balm beforehand to make it work. Although it’s matte, for the price tag I really wish it was a little more moisturising. However I still love it, and matte always works best in the cooler months. Vampy shade for Halloween, perhaps?

So those were my top 3 Autumnal lippies! Stay tuned for more posts this month, October’s got me inspired…
