I’ve loved Soap & Glory’s products since they were a little known brand and that slightly bit gimmicky at first glance. That was back in ’08 and 6 years down the line I’m still yet to try out so much more of their stuff. My old favourites included Sexy Motherpucker, The Righteous Butter and Mist You Madly.
But today I’m talking about the Kick Ass Concealer, Hair Turban and their newly released Orangeasm Body Wash. A random collection I know, but they’ve not yet received the air time they deserve on here.
The Kick Ass Concealer 3 Piece Camouflage Kit is a cross between the Laura Mercier Undercover Pot and Bobbi Brown’s Corrector/Creamy Concealer. It’s a fraction of the price at a tenner, and comes with 2 concealers, a mirror as well as a translucent setting powder. One concealer is darker than the other, where one gives me the option of a brighter under eye and the other a good blemish cover up. The concealer has real lasting power and covers up stubborn spots really well. The powder is great for on the go too, so this little beauty will always be found in my handbag day to day.
The Hair Turban is one of those things I don’t know what I did without before it was in my life. It’s the softest, comfiest thing to wrap on my head and doesn’t tug at my hair. After I’ve got out of the shower I’ll put it on, letting my hair dry as I put my makeup on. There’s not really much else to say about it!
And now for the one that everyone’s talked about; their Orangeasm Zesty-Fresh & Revitalizing Body Wash was released as part of the Orangeasm collection a couple of months ago, and I decided to treat myself to the body wash as I’d ran out of the Clean on Me. It’s different to their usual distinct scent, and at first I was unsure of it. It’s a zesty, orangey fragrance with a spicey punch, and the spice was not my usual preference. However I’ve grown to really love it, it’s just a shame the scent doesn’t last as long on the skin as I’d like it to!
So these are my current Soap & Glory favourites. Have you tried any of these products?
