Time for a more different post than usual! Now I wouldn’t ever want to be stuck on a desert island but if I was unlucky enough, the one makeup item I would need with me would be my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I’d attempt to rock the ‘natural’ look, sacking off the mascara, my beloved eyebrow filler and get covering up those dark circles! It would also give my face good enough coverage to feel comfortable without foundation. It’s by far the best concealer I’ve ever tried, and for less than a fiver it’s a bargain.
As far as skincare goes, I don’t think I could ever part with my La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (Now reformulated as Effaclar Duo+). It can be doubled up as a moisturiser and treatment for minimising and correcting pores; it even helps pesky spots go away!
I asked a few girls what products they couldn’t live without…
Rachel Keighley, a support worker for criminals with mental health problems, said:
Makeup:
“My YSL Touche Eclat Complexion Highlighter. I have horses, so it helps me look human without having to put anything else on first thing in the morning, and when I’m going out it gives me cheekbones on a picture!”
Skincare:
” The Lancome Bi-Facil. It gets the heaviest of make up off with out having to scrub, as my skins really sensitive.”
Gemma Cole, a student studying Business at Sheffield Hallam University, said:
Makeup:
“My Max Factor Panstik Foundation, I love it so much. I use it as a concealer, it’s the best thing ever for covering dark circles under my eyes and it lasts for ages!”
Nic Moors, a student studying Journalism at University of Sheffield, said:
Makeup:
“It would be my Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream as it as evens out my skin tone while still looking like I’m wearing minimal makeup.”
Skincare:
“It’s difficult as I’ve got lots of favourites! I would say my Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser as its easy to use & helps make my pores less noticeable.”
What one product can you not live without?
