What beauty bits I’ve bought this month…
From Left to Right: Tigi S Factor Smoothing Lusterizer: £14.50 at feelunique.com, Along Came Betty Pure Pores 15 Minute Detox Mask: £5.49 at Tesco, L’Oreal Paris True Match Foundation in Golden Natural: £9.99 at Boots, Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr in On and On Bronze: £4.99 at Superdrug, Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Vanilla: £3.99 at Superdrug
L’Oreal Paris True Match Foundation
After using Rimmel’s Match Perfection Foundation all summer I wanted to find a base that was slightly fuller coverage and less dewy on the skin to suit the colder months ahead. I’ve always heard good things about this foundation so I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve tried it a couple of times now and I’m really liking it; it’s a good match to my face and it has a satin finish, so it’s still dewy with a good amount of coverage. I haven’t broken out straight away like I usually do with products that disagree with my skin, so that’s also a good sign!
Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr
I’ve wanted to try these eyeshadows out for such a long time, but I’ve never been able to justify buying another when I have so many already. I finally caved in the other day as I wanted to find a cream eyeshadow with lasting power, and seeing as in the title it claims to last 24 hours I was easily persuaded! I decided to go for a neutral colour so I could get the most wear out of it and went for On and On Bronze. I’ve tried it once with MUA’s Professional Eyes Primer underneath and it was on my eyelids for a good 6 hours before I wiped my makeup off. It didn’t budge, but to be honest who ever wears their makeup for a whole 24 hours anyway?!
Barry M Matte Nail Paint
I don’t know how long these matte nail varnishes have been around but as soon as I saw them I wanted every colour! I love matte lipstick, and I love matte nails. I’ve had the Vanilla shade for a couple of weeks now and it’s one of my favourites for Autumn already, all it takes is one coat and you have full coverage. I plan on getting the whole Autumn/Winter collection!
Tigi S-Factor Smoothing Lusterizer
I’ve been using this product for a long time and I don’t think I could ever live without it. I noticed I was running out last week so I had to make a quick online order to feelunique.com. It keeps my hair smooth and tame and smells absolutely amazing. It somewhat reminds me of Chuppa Chupps strawberries and cream lollipops. Yes, random I know. I drop a pea sized amount into my wet hair and then blow dry it before styling.
Along Came Betty Pure Pores 15 Minute Detox Mask
I was casually doing my grocery shopping the other day at Tesco when I came across this skincare range; what looked like a supermarket version of Soap & Glory was what caught my attention. I was already aware of Asda and Sainsbury’s versions, and I decided to pick up their face mask as I’m in need of a good pamper. I haven’t tried it yet, but it smells very clean and fresh and I can’t wait to give it a go.
I love the true match foundations, but I wish I could get it in a pump here. Only the true match lumi comes in a pump over here and the true match comes in a tiny bottle.

Aw no, I don’t know what I’d do without the pump. I haven’t tried the lumi magique, do you recommend it? x
I love love love it! But you need a really good primer and I wouldn’t use it if you have extremely oily or acne prone skin.
